ALLOCATION RULES

RULES FOR THE ALLOCATION OF HOLIDAY HOMES 

BRÚ - association of managers.


The applicant must be a legal member according to Chapter 3 of Article 3 and be debt-free according to Article 6 of the same chapter in the association's laws, those members who do not pay to the association are removed at the first distribution, but reinstated at the subsequent distribution.


Applications for summer stays must be received by the association by March 11th each year. All applications are entered into a computer which then handles allocation in accordance with Article 3 allocation rules.

A member earns one point for each month he pays to the association. During the summer and Easter distribution, he uses 36 points. During the winter distribution 3 points regardless of time.

If two parties apply for the same week, in the same house and have equal rights, a computer shall arrange the distribution. If there are no requests for houses I and II, the houses will be drawn.

The applicant is not allowed to sublet to others, without the approval of the vacation committee.

If there are free weeks after allocation, the vacation committee will allocate them at the beginning of the rental period according to the rules above.


Members are strictly prohibited from subletting the houses.

The tenant is responsible for the building and all its equipment during the rental period and undertakes to compensate for any damage that occurs during the rental period. The tenant is obliged to report any damage that occurs during the rental period to the BFS office. It is the duty to return the house clean and take good care of it and its surroundings and ensure that every item is in its place when leaving. If the tenant violates the aforementioned points, an invoice will be sent to him for cleaning and/or damage, and the payment deadline for the invoice is 15 days. If an invoice is not paid within the specified period, the invoice will be sent to a lawyer for collection.

If a member is found to be misbehaving in holiday homes, causing damage to them, belongings or their surroundings, he can forfeit his right to stay in a holiday home for a certain period of time as decided by the vacation committee.


Applications for residence outside the period stated in Article 3 are not subject to time limits other than the fact that applications can be made a maximum of three months in advance.


Travel allowance / holiday allowance


The grant is 30.000 for the year 2024. Applications are made on the holiday website and allocated like holiday homes. NOTE that three years must pass between grants. The grant is paid out upon presentation of invoices and the deadline is November 1 of that year.


NOTE: PAYMENT FOR HOLIDAY HOUSE RENTAL MUST BE MADE IMMEDIATELY OR NO LATER THAN 2 DAYS AFTER ALLOCATION, OTHERWISE THE HOUSE WILL BE LISTED AVAILABLE FOR RENT FOR OTHER MEMBERS.

When canceling rentals, 80% is refunded. If you cancel two days in advance or less, there is no refund.



SPECIAL PROVISIONS APPLY FOR EASTER WEEK:


Recommendation: Due to the large number of people attending, we recommend that those who have limited membership or who have retired due to age apply for a holiday home early or late in the summer.


Easter week is from Wednesday to Wednesday.
